yummy Waffle recipe

One of the Florence households favorite dinner meal is breakfast. While I have been trying to cook healthier, waffles and pancakes have been a no-no. So we mostly stick to eggs, 100% grass fed organic bacon and Dave's bread. While this is still an amazing breakfast, we were beginning to miss the carbs. They are just too darn good.

One of my recently found bloggers (who I adore), blogged this awesome waffle recipe that I just had to try. The best part is that they are egg free and if you want, they can be dairy free. The only dairy that it calls for is milk. You could use any type of milk that you want. We used raw whole milk.

Ingredients

2 c flour
4 t baking powder
1 T honey
5 T coconut oil
2 T water
2 c milk (of any kind)
1 t vanilla extract

Directions

Mix all of the wet ingredients together and all of the dry ingredients together separately. When you mix all of the wet ingredients together warm them up because the coconut oil will harden if you mix in cold milk or water. After you have separately mixed the wet and dry ingredients, mix them together until smooth. // For more tips on this recipe head on over to Nicoles Recipe //

Enjoy while they are warm with a generous amount of powdered sugar and butter, that's my favorite!
